No more games and stuff today. Assembled at the college's courtyard for flag raising this morning. Was almost late for it. Haiyoh. Okie I had a nice experience which is.. a flag raising ceremony where no one actually sings the national anthem AND I've also experienced something for the first time since I started saying the pledge and that is.. the softest pledge taking I've ever come across. Cool right?. Hahaz. Then we proceed to the hall for a talk on how to do well in JC or something like that. Seems more like a workshop. Lolz. No one seemed to be listening to the poor fellow talk. I'm no where better than those guys who made his presentation such a "success". Up next was another talk by the ang moh HOD of GP, Mr Simon Renolds. HE made his talk rather interesting. Well at least most of the peeps are paying attention cos he'll be scanning the hall for "lost eyes". Hahaz. But the content is soooo boring; it's about the college's values and stuff which I thought the vice principal had already told us on the first day. Enough of that. We had a break after that then the "procycons" gathered at the auditorium's carpark for a meeting to dicuss tomorrow night's item. But after about 20mins people started leaving (and that includes me). For good reason K..cos we didn't want to miss our economics lecture. Ahhhhhh...hahaz. The introductory lecture made economics seems an interesting subject. But we never know if there are any hidden dragons and crouching tigers in the pages of the textbook. After a 10mins break it was the chemistry lecture at the same venue. Right. Sure had a good laugh at her lameness (different from that of Mr Collin's) and her "probRem" Wahahahaha.
I've come to realise that JC life isn't going to be easy. There seems to be so many things which you have to take the initiative to do. There's no longer such thing as a definite textbook. You either get a reference book from a variety of choice or visit the library and do your study. So scary..lolz. And there's no more free notes already. You've got to pay for everything the lecturers give! mann..
=D the gang went visit their hometown this afternoon. We sure gave the teachers a great pleasant surprise!! And it's so nice to see them all!! Saw miss foong first then Mr Azhar. Had a tour around the newly furnished classroom block during curriculum time *first time!*. Hahaz. Saw a couple more of my ex-teachers "in action". It sure brings back loads of pleasant memories =)Visited the staff room. saw and chatted with a couple more teachers. Then we went to see students-most-feared Mr San. Well He's became nice..to us but definitely not to our juniors. Poor little kids they are. Lolz. Wanted to visit the new principal but he wasn't available. haiz. Went up the hall to see the rehersal for Saturday's PTM. Mrs Lim's there to in charge of her dance club. Had a chat with her till around 5pm. Hahaz. She used to do that in class before but it hadn't been so lovely. She's still so nice =)
