Argghh. Why is Singapore so left out in international events!? Is it because it's too small to be significant? Or is it because it simply can't be bothered, huh? If it should be the latter one, then I think credit to a selfish culture that's breeding right here should go to the government. Singapore is so 'anti-social'. To think it's called a gloal and cosmopolitan city with a vibrant and multiracial culture and heritage, Singapore doesn't even appear on UNESCO's non-represented nations list. The career prospects of working for it seem promising. But even the thought of trying to apply for a job there is dashed =X
It was compulsory to attend the Student Council Investiture on wednesday so we went. Overall, compared to PRCS', it was great! As always, Mrs Ho (our principal) bowed before any of her imprtant speeches, which never fail to tickle. It's nice of her to do that though. How many principals are that polite nowadays? I'm quite confident to say, there're none. Guest of honour was a senior from the first batch, who's currently high up the hierachy in the Army. The hand-over ceremony was truly style. And the Nanyang spirit was really high in the air. It was a fascinating experience, like that of Harry Potter's? hahaz..
Suppose you're happy to see the grades. Well at least it's something you hoped for. I'm happy for you too!! hahaz. Thanks for making my day =D Guess when our luck combine, it can really work wonders xP
Times without you seem really empty; "Absence makes a heart grow fonder" is exceptionally true. Nearly a year since we got united by fate, yah? Hopefully it'll bring us a bit closer in the future, in the real world where we're, as friends. I look forward to that.
