It's mid autumn. The round, yellow dwelling of
Chang Er's is supposed to be exceptionally beautiful in the eyes of mortals, but not in mine though. It looks.. just as usual, nothing so special. Perhaps there weren't any
Tun Lok's mooncakes for me today, as the radio commercial goes, "what's mid-autumn without
Tun Lok's mooncakes..".. Hahaz.. not funny. Perhaps times' changed, or perhaps I chose not to, it's been a nice and quiet day.
Mooncake festival used to be full of fun and surprises; How those DIY plastic lanterns got shrunk into an unrecognisable shape as soon as the candles were lit, how playing with paper lanterns never got so fun until they're burnt (purposfefully), how ants got 'waxed', how candles became the main attraction of the night for us kids...
In any case, I shouldn't give today's special night display a miss, afterall, it's said to be one since a long long time ago, so it should be true. Maybe will try to figure out why it's said to be *nodds*
