That one thing that soothed my nerves for the paper could only be Mr Tong's msg. It was quite a last minute affair though, but I'm relieved I did receive it IN TIME. So it went like this:
"lady didnt make the deadline for the collar pin so i have a send all u guys a virtual one. Wanted to thank u again for this year. Was very very happy to have taught such wonderful people. want to encourage u to remember ur skills. Open ur mind. And find a voice. This paper is so meaningful. Make it urs tomorrow. Own it. I am very proud to have taught u. Will be praying for all of u.hope i have done my job well. Its ur show now. Remember. AFRICA IS NOT A COUNTRY"
I think I heard that voice, and I believe I've made it mine. If I feel proud for what I've written then I've done it, no matter what. You want to give me a C6, k la, f*** you.
Just something random here. While mugging for GP yesterday at SOT, I was suddenly reminded by the greay pouring afternoon, of an image that appears in my mind every now and then, though it's not that frequent as it implies.. A large and seemingly empty platform dotted with only a few passers-by. Judging by the way the sun light was shining in, it tells of a time either dawn or dusk. The place seems cold, cos apprently people are wearing cloaks. Perhaps it's either autumn or winter, that's how I feel. And the frame is in tones of black and white. I have a feeling that this is a railway station somewhere in germany. Lol. Sounds totally absurd right? Similar sentiments too. Think I'll never be able to figure it out.
